    • Monday – Friday 07.30 – 14.30 (including 30min unpaid break)
    • Term Time Only plus one additional week to be worked during school holidays

Laleham Gap School is looking for a solution focussed and dynamic cook to join our wonderful, dedicated and highly effective Catering team.

Duties will include providing an efficient catering service to pupils including directing staff as appropriate, organising appropriate menus and maintaining stock levels, writing allergen labels, ensuring compliance with relevant Health & Safety and hygiene regulations

The successful candidate is likely to have had previous experience of catering, enjoy working as part of a team in a school environment and be a confident communicator. Efficient time management is essential to prioritise duties and work on their own initiative. The successful candidate will ensure our catering service is maintained to the highest standard to offer our children the best environment to learn grow and succeed.

Information about the school

Laleham Gap is a Communication and Interaction Special School. We have pupils aged from 4 to 18 years of age. Most of our pupils have a diagnosis of Autism. All pupils have an EHCP. Most pupils will achieve some GCSEs or equivalent at age 16. Laleham Gap is a new, high quality and well-resourced environment and the opportunity to work with an established, experienced and highly motivated team.
