Teaching Assistant at Chantry Community Academy

Fixed Term until July 2024

Salary: Kent Range 03 - £7,299 Per Annum

Hours: 15 Hours Per Week, Term Time Only

Are you a caring and dedicated individual with a passion for helping children learn and grow?  If so we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at Chantry Community Academy. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting the classroom teacher in creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment for our young learners.

Responsiblities: 

  • Highly motivated and committed to providing inclusive learning opportunities.
  • Supporting the teacher in delivering lessons and activities that cater to the needs of the students.
  • Implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social and emotional development
  • Monitor and record children’s progress
  • Collaborate with parents/carers and communicate effectively regarding children’s progress and needs.

 Skills / Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with children effectively.
  • Patience, empathy and a genuine love for working with children
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers and staff effectively.
