Hampton Primary School requires an enthusiastic, self-motivated and proactive Site Manager to be responsible for the school site. Key areas include Premises Management, Lettings Management, Security and Budget Management. The post holder is responsible for ensuring the safety and maintenance of the school site, supervising the Site Assistant and contractors, as well as ensuring compliance with Good Estate Management in Schools. 

We are looking for someone who has basic trade skills and is proactive in identifying and addressing safety concerns and maintenance needs.  The successful candidate must be IT literate, organised, able to prioritise, able to keep accurate records and maintain an online system for tracking and managing maintenence requests and testing schedules.  Excellent communication skills and teamwork are required as the post involves liaising with staff and contractors daily.

Desirable qualifications or experience include:-

Previous experience in an educational or other site setting

Evidence of basic trade skills

Proficiency in using Microsoft systems for email and communication

Training in Health & Safety/COSHH/Fire Safety/Legionella/Working at Height/RoSPA/First Aid

The position is permanent, working 52 weeks per year with 27 days paid leave plus bank holidays. The normal working pattern is 40 hours per week Monday to Friday (starting salary £25,730 - £27,435 depending on experience). Additional payment is made for call-outs/lettings. A job-share may be considered.

Information about the school

We are a large and successful primary school, which converted to a stand alone Academy in April 2012. We operate under Hampton Collaborative Trust allowing the freedom to grow and develop with our community needs at the forefront of all decisions.

We are an inclusive, caring and constantly improving school with an exceptionally strong collaborative staff team. Our current roll is 670 children with 3 classes per year group, group teaching in KS2 to facilitate smaller class provision, a purpose built on-site nursery and a strong Well-Being Team, FLO, Play Therapist and Emotional Well-Being practitioner to provide the support and nurture for our most vulnerable children.

We are in the process of creating an additional learning environment for identified children typically with EHCPs to support their access to the curriculum as well as supporting their emotional and social development.

Our current SEND is 15% and we are constantly signposted within the local authority for our excellent SEND provision. We are also incredibly excited to be in the process of developing an ASC SRP provision to further support and nurture our SEND children.
