We are looking to appoint a full time outstanding Teacher of MFL who can inspire and excite students in their learning of Languages on a permanent basis from September 2024.

You will be joining a well-resourced department that is driven in our focus on raising achievement in French and/or Spanish and is also part of the Wells Language Hub. The post offers outstanding opportunities for continuous personal and professional development for a highly motivated and ambitious teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for an NQT or experienced teacher.  The person appointed would be supported by the Head of MFL and a team of specialist teachers. 

As well as our state-of-the-art facilities, and innovative teaching aids, we have an exciting programme of trips, visits, visitors and extra-curricular activities.  Cornwallis Academy value positive working relationships and seek individuals who will support this ethos.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • The ability to teach French and/or Spanish up to KS5 would be desirable
  • Knowledge of the MFL curriculum
  • Recent and relevant teaching experience
