We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and experienced Teacher of Physics who has a bold and creative vision, to provide innovative, high-quality leadership of Physics. You will work closely with our Director of Science and Lead in Chemistry (2 i/c) to secure a consistent, high quality Science education experience for our learners.

The successful candidate will be able to teach Physics to KS3 and KS4 with the possibility of growing the curriculum to KS5 in the future.

In partnership with the Director of Science and other leaders, you will:

  • Lead and support a team of teachers and students to high levels of success
  • Consider the school’s ‘Pure potential’ belief and how this can be interpreted within Science, through high expectations and aspirations for the students
  • Develop pedagogical approaches to Physics across the team

In return, we offer an exciting and rewarding place to work; where staff enjoy working within a modern science block. We are a supportive, collaborative school and have a strong record of developing our teachers towards middle and senior leadership.
