Join our team as a Family Liaison Officer at our charming rural one form entry school! 🏫 Are you passionate about building strong connections within our school community? Do you thrive in a supportive and nurturing environment? We're seeking a dedicated individual to support families and enhance the wellbeing of our students. 

We are looking for someone who can display the following skills:

  • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to build trust and rapport.
  • Empathy: Being able to understand and empathize with the diverse needs and challenges of families within the school community.
  • Problem-solving: Capacity to identify and address issues faced by families, offering practical solutions and support.
  • Organizational skills:Managing multiple tasks efficiently, including scheduling appointments, coordinating resources, and maintaining records.
  • Confidentiality:Upholding confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive family matters.
  • Collaboration: Working collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support to families.
  • Cultural sensitivity: Respecting and valuing cultural differences and diversity within the school community.
  • Advocacy: Advocating for the needs of families and ensuring they have access to appropriate resources and support services.
  • Emotional intelligence: Being attuned to the emotional needs of families and providing compassionate support.
  •  Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and needs within the school community.

Luddenham is a one form entry school set in the outskirts of Faversham in a rural location. We are surrounded by countryside and benefit from a wide range of facilities.

We are a stand-alone academy and have a fantastic and supportive staff team who work collaboratively for the benefit of our children and the local community.
