We are looking for an experienced Senior Nursery Officer to join our nursery team. The position will be part time working 30 hours per week term time only.

The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated but also willing and able to work effectively as part of a team. The ability to be flexible is essential in such a diverse and interesting environment.

Skills, experience, attributes

  • Experienced L3 practitioner with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a nursery environment.
  • Effective and successful practice in Early Years.
  • Ability to develop professional relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues and communicate effectively with all.
  • Good team working skills and also able to use own initiative.
  • Enthusiastic and motivated.
  • Committed to providing high quality care and education.
  • Able to work flexible shift patterns.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to work with age ranges 2 to 5 years old.
  • Responsible for your own room and the staff working with you. Ensuring they are performing to the highest standards.
  • Previous experience of leading/managing a team.
  • Ensure that children’s observations are relevant, reflective and provide, developmentally challenging next step.
