TEACHER OF SPANISH

We are looking for an enthusiastic and competent Spanish practitioner who strives to deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet each learner's needs.   

Specific Duties:

  • Teach  Spanish from KS3 to KS5 to mixed ability classes in various contexts. 
  • Ability to teach French confidently at KS3 desirable.
  • Commit in providing accessible language learning for ALL students.
  • Able to contribute to the planning, development and evaluation of relevant and appropriate curriculum maps and sequenced programmes of study.
  • Confident in using assessment, tracking, and target setting tools to accurately monitor their learners' progress  and adapt their  Teaching and Learning strategies accordingly.

strong subject knowledge, keep their knowledge and

skills as teachers up-to-date and are self-critical, forge

positive professional relationships, and work with

The Trust comprises of Skinners’ Kent Academy and Skinners’ Kent Primary School.

The Academy opened on September 1st 2009. It is an independent, non fee-paying, mixed, all ability school, funded by the DfE and supported fully by its lead sponsor The Skinners’ School, a grammar school for boys and the Skinners’ Company. The Skinners’ Kent Academy Trust is founded on the principles of a culture of high standards and high aspirations, a culture of active participation, an emotionally rich learning environment and an inclusive environment where every child is known and every learner supported.

The main aim of the Academy Trust is to provide the highest quality of education for students, from Reception to Year 11 and the Sixth Form. The Academy Trust aims to raise and reflect aspirations within the local community and provide education, social and economic benefits for all.
