We are looking to appoint a mathematics tutor or intervention teacher, to work with individual or groups of children who are working below or just below the expected range for their age. The successful candidate will be working with a supportive team of teachers and teaching assistants, and our amazing KS2 pupils.

This is a part time position and we can be flexible with agreed hours.

The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher or a mathematics graduate, who is able to plan and teach pupils in areas where our data indicates that there are gaps in learning. They will work with the class teacher to assess when the programme has impact, and use our data system to demonstrate that robust progress has been made. Empowering pupils to work with confidence and independence is very important in this work.

If you would like more details about how we see this position developing, and career opportunities, please call 01322 665212 and ask for the Headteacher.

If you would like to book a tour of the school please call 01322 665212 and ask for teh School Business Manager, Safiye Sepet.
