New Line Learning Academy are looking to appoint a SENDCo on a permanent basis to join our department and take responsibility for the strategic vision and day-to-day operation of provision made by the school for pupils with SEND. We are seeking a SENDCo with experience of working closely with SEND pupils and who can provide professional guidance in the area of SEND in order to secure high quality teaching and the effective use of resources to bring about improved standards of achievement for all pupils. This role will also involve tracking, monitoring and providing interventions for all SEND pupils across the school. You will be dedicated to providing the best educational opportunities for the young people we serve. 

You will preferably have the National Award for SEND Co-Ordination or appropriate qualifications and experience or be working to achieve the relevant qualification. You will have excellent organisation skills and up to date knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory policy guidance as set out in the SEND code of practice. You will have strong knowledge of working with external agencies to provide the relevant support needed by pupils with SEND.

The SENDCo will also hold responsibility for children in care and provide the relevant care and support that this group of pupils require.
