This is an exciting opportunity to join Earlscliffe College. We are seeking inspiring and committed person who is either looking to develop their skills as, or has previous experience as a Science Technician.

This will be a dual role as Science Technician and Study Supervisor, working 20 hours per week, 4 hours per day Monday to Friday, to work and support the teaching and learning needs of the students at Earlscliffe College. We are flexible with the times of work each day. This role will commence from 1 September 2024.

The candidate will need to have Science, Maths and English at GCSE at grade C or above, with previous experience (and or) an equivalent qualification in a relevant subject as essential. However there is an opportunity for this role to be filled by an unqualified candidate, with the expectation that should you be successful, you will complete the relevant training towards a recognised qualification.

The role is term time only plus 3 Inset Days and attracts the following salary, based on level of qualification:

  •  (Qualified) at £25,378 - £28,466 (pro rata for 20 hours a week)
  •  (Unqualified) at £22,595-23,693 (pro rata for 20 hours a week)
