Do you believe in the power of the natural world and outdoor learning and the importance of the role it plays in the development of young people?

Are you passionate and skilled in developing learning experiences for children outdoors, related to the natural world around them? 

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a passionate Natural World Specialist to inspire and teach our children, staff and communities.  

We are on a quest to find our Lightyear Natural World Specialist who will work with Greatstone Primary School and Repton Manor Primary School in the following areas:

  • Lead group and class learning outside investigating science, nature, environment, animals and plants.
  • Develop our natural world provision and the expertise of staff.
  • Embed an ambitious and enthusing natural world offer to all children.
  • Communicate with children, staff, families and the community regarding the natural world offer.
  • Carve out the role of the outside and natural world learning across the federation.
