Are you an enthusiastic Science Teacher seeking an opportunity to contribute to the success of young learners? The Malling School, a Good school with aspects graded Outstanding by Ofsted, is seeking a passionate Science Teacher to join our dynamic department, offering the option of taking on additional responsibility with a TLR. This is a permanent position with flexible start date, FTE, and part-time options, all open for discussion during the interview process.

As a Science Teacher at The Malling School, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Teach Science, impacting students up to and including Key Stage 5 (KS5).

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with the ability to teach Science to KS3 and GCSE levels (ability to teach beyond GCSE is preferable).
  • Demonstrate innovation and reflectiveness in their teaching approach.
  • Have a proven ability to achieve excellent examination results for students.
  • Be motivated by the desire to make a lasting impact on young lives.
  • Bring enthusiasm and a values-driven approach to education.

All successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure, Occupational Health check, two satisfactory references, an online check, and, where applicable, a prohibition from teaching check. Information about the school

A mixed 11-19 co-educational High School of 1000 pupils serving the historic market town of West Malling and surrounding villages. The school is set in pleasant rural surroundings and has its own lake and extensive grounds. It was completely re-built in September 2007 and therefore has outstanding facilities.

West Malling is close to the county town of Maidstone and has excellent rail links to London and Ashford International (for the Continent).
