We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Office Manager to come and join our hardworking team and provide administrative support to ensure the effective management of the Office. The successful candidate ideally will have experience of working in a busy school office and knowledge of HR, finance. This important role involves overseeing the day to day functions of the office. We are looking for someone who is personable, positive and a good communicator who will be the first point of contact for parents and visitors.

We are looking for someone to work full time Monday to Friday. Part time will also be considered. This is a term time only position plus three weeks (42 weeks altogether at 37 hours a week) The hours of work are as follows:-  Monday -  Thursday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. on a Friday. There is a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.

This role will be paid at KR7  ( £25,378 - £28,466 FTE)

 The ideal candidate will :-

  • Be approachable with excellent interpersonal skills and an enthusiastic attitude
  • Be proactive and well organised to a high level of accuracy
  • Be able to work effectively as a positive team member
  • Have previous administrative experience within a school office
  • Be able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel as well as school systems
  • Be highly professional with a good understanding of confidentiality
  • Be able to formulate ideas and solutions
  • Be willing to support the wider life of the school
