St. Saviour's C.E junior is looking to appoint a Sports Coach.  The post is term time only for 30 hours per week.  Some Saturdays are required (for inter-school sports competitions) and these will be paid as over time.

We are looking for someone with expertise and experience teaching whole class P.E, running after school sports and organising school sports teams.  You would be the supervising adult at sports competitions for our children, so this is a responsible position - we need someone trustworthy and reliable.

You would work from 10.00am - 4.30pm each day, with a half an hour for lunch.  Morning hours would be divided between planning / paper work and supporting children in class.  Afternoons would be delivering PE lessons while teachers take their PPA time.  From 3.20 until 4.30 you would be leading a sports club each day.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be committed to working within a team to deliver the best possible outcomes for children
  • Be reliable and trustworthy
  • Experience / training in first aid
  • Experience of sports teaching 
  • Clean driving licence - preferrable but not essential
