Information about the school

Edgebury Primary School is a very popular two-form entry school located in Chislehurst, just outside of Bromley. We are gradually increasing in size from a one form entry school to two forms, being fully two forms in September 2022. We are a foundation school co-operative Education trust with three other Foundation schools in Bromley. The co-operative Education Trust is known as ‘Aspiration for All Co-Operative Trust’ (AFACT) and we are not an academy. As a close group of schools who share the same aspirations and vision we work together to share ideas, training, resources etc and support each other in striving to get the very best outcomes for each and every one of our children. This allows us the freedom to continue to improve the educational opportunities and continuous development for all of our school communities.
Edgebury Primary School is set on a large attractive site with extensive playing fields, a forest school, quiet areas, a sensory garden and a climbing area. Currently, we are busy fundraising to secure a double decker bus to extend our outside learning opportunities. Our accommodation is of the highest standard with half of the building only a few years old and the old part re-furbished. At Edgebury we aim to provide high quality teaching in a happy and caring environment where all children are given the opportunity to fulfil their potential in all aspects of their development. Our amazing team are highly professional and committed to supporting each other and the needs of all of our children and families. Within this team there is a range of experience and expertise to share. We expect high standards in all areas of learning and behaviour and encourage good manners and respect for each other.
Together we work to ensure that all of our children learn effectively in a secure and supportive community so that they are confident in taking their place as valued members of society. For further information about our school please refer to our website.
