The Estates Team at Leigh Academies Trust is expanding and we have a fantastic opportunity to appoint an Estates Administrator (Apprentice). This is a new role within our Estates Team, and it’s a chance to join an established and experienced estates function - you'll be learning from the very best! 

We are seeking a dedicated and highly organised Administration Apprentice to support a busy and vibrant Estates team. The duties will involve a combination of administrative tasks, coordination of communications and project management support. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders within the Estates teams to support operational objectives effectively and efficiently. This exciting opportunity will provide valuable experience and exposure to a diverse range of tasks.

This role is offered as an 18-month apprenticeship contract and our successful candidate will work towards a nationally-recognised Level 3 Business Administration qualification, delivered by LAT Apprenticeships. Click here to read more about LAT Apprenticeships.  

Future prospects: This apprenticeship could be the start of a very promising career within the wider business and administration remit. We endeavour to offer further employment following successful performance and completion of the Level 3 course with future opportunities to extend your training with a higher level apprenticeship programme. We offer in-house Continuing Professional Development and you’ll be part of a highly experienced and efficient office team.

Apprenticeship Summary:

Annual wage:  £12,500 per annum

Holiday allowance: 25 days per annum plus bank holidays

Working week: Monday - Thursday, 8.00am – 4.30pm / Friday, 8.00am - 4.00pm

Total hours per week: 37 (including the 20% training element of the Apprenticeship)

Apprenticeship duration: Approx.18 months

Anticipated start date: As soon as possible

Apprenticeship level: Advanced Level Apprenticeship (Level 3)

Apprenticeship standard: Business & Administration

Positions: 1 available

Desired entry qualifications: GCSE grade C/4 or above in Maths, English and ICT

Information about the trust

As of 1st September 2024, our Trust comprises 33 geographically organised academies (17 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating more than 24,000 students and employing 4,000 talented staff. Currently, 16 of our academies are considered to be “Outstanding” which is 53% of those which have been inspected whilst part of the Trust. The Trust is establishing three ‘clusters’ of academies: LAT Central; LAT West; LAT North. In addition, the Trust is responsible for one of the region’s biggest initial teaching training organisations, a large teaching school hub and is an accredited apprenticeship provider.
