Do you have experience in supporting children within Key Stage 1 or 2? Are you an enthusiastic and compassionate individual who can show initiative and enjoys working with children? Do you want to make a difference to children’s learning and help them to be their best?

We are looking for two Teaching Assistants to join our staff team. The hours for the role are 8.45 to 3.15 each day but we can be flexible for the right person and would consider alternative hours to suit you. Please state your preferences for flexible working on your application. 

The posts will be temporary until the end of the academic year 31.8.24, in the first instance.

Candidates should have the minimum qualifications of 5 GCSEs or equivalent with a good pass including English and Maths, and/ or NVQ Level 3 or above. We will prioritise candidates with experience of supporting children in a primary school setting.

Information about the school

The school is situated in a popular residential area, just outside the main town of Dover. The school is fully inclusive and attracts children from the local community. The school roll is approximately 400 with children organised into fourteen mixed ability classes. We also have a Specialist Resource Provision class for 12 children with speech and/or language impairments. These children spend much time each day in their mainstream class with their peers. We are fortunate to have a vibrant and energetic staff team who support each other fully, sharing ideas and best practice.
