The contract is for 30 hours per week, term time only.

 You must be able to demonstrate: 

• Knowledge of the KS1/KS2 curriculum
• Ability to recognise an anxious child
• Ability to find the uniqueness of a child and develop confidence and self-esteem
• Capacity to build strong and trusting relationships with parents
• Experience in meeting the needs of children with multiple needs
• Compassion and patience with a non-negotiable that children succeed and flourish
• A willingness to go a little bit further than most to ensure success
• A willingness and experience to cover a class when needed
• Good communication skills and able to manage information carefully and sensitively
• Understanding of teamwork and collaboration and the importance of good communication
• Qualifications to match experience NVQ L2 or higher or other equivalent qualifications in working with young people
• A willingness to be flexible
• Experience of working with high needs in a mainstream setting
• Creativity and flair to inspire young people
• Good behaviour management strategies
• A sense of humour and resilience
