NJC Grade D2 Points 04 -11 (£7,835 - £8,806 per annum)
FTE – (£23,114 – £25,979)

Hours: 15 Hours Per Week, 38 Weeks Per Year (Term Time Only)
Required from: January 2024


An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the new nursery facility at Hilltop Primary Academy. You must be willing to work collaboratively within a small team, have great communication skills and able to work in partnership with parents. Ideally you will have a minimum of Level 2 Early Years Childcare qualification and knowledge/understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage, however this is not essential as training can be given. If you have the ability to create a happy and secure environment in which children can develop confidence and grow as individuals then please apply!


Hilltop is an oversubscribed two form entry school which has the benefit of a large playing field and a heated indoor swimming pool. The Academy is part of the Skills for Life Trust where there are two Secondary Schools and three Primary Schools.


Key Responsibilities:
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social and emotional development
• Monitor and record children’s progress
• Collaborate with parents/carers and communicate effectively regarding children’s progress and needs

Qualifications:
• Level 02 / 03 - Early Years Childcare
• Knowledge/understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy and a genuine love for working with children
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
