Now that we have completed the expansion to a two form entry, Headcorn Primary School is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our hard-working, busy and friendly admin and finance team.

You will need to be organised, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, have a friendly personality, be proactive and a team player ideally with a background in a finance related work environment.

The role will be to support the clerical, administrative and financial functions of the school.

This will include taking responsibility for systems such as the online payment and communications system, undertaking a range of financial procedures, including placing orders, invoicing, setting up online payments and dealing with parent queries on the phone and face to face.

We need someone who can work in the first instance 4 hours a day from Monday to Friday inclusive. These hours may increase in the future.

Candidates may be offered an interview prior to the closing date.

The interview will include some admin and numerical tasks.

Salary £ 21,389 per annum (pro rata £ 9,775 gross approximately for part time) within grade Kent Range 4.
