Information about the school

About us and our federation:

We are a small federation, consisting of our Infant and Junior schools. We created our federation 6 years ago in order to ensure consistently strong practice across the primary phase. Since its creation, the federation has gone from strength to strength, harbouring a strong community feel, with outstanding relationships with our parents, and children who feel happy, safe and demonstrate a real willingness to learn.

While still 2 separate schools with our own identities, we have a shared governing body and the leadership team works very closely together, sharing its vision in order to give our pupils every chance of success as they move onto their next stage in development.

Children genuinely do come at the heart of all of our decision making and we are passionate about sharing our strong practice with the community. Visits to the school are highly encouraged – we would love you to see what makes us unique.

“The whole family is part of the school and not just the pupils. It’s a warm, welcoming environment for all. Happy to have my child in this school.” – Parent

“I have loved working at Brookfield. Teaching isn’t easy and I don’t think I would have stuck with it if I wasn’t in a supportive school that valued my own well-being. I’m also grateful for all of the opportunities and feel like I’ve had the opportunity to make a change in my own way. I always feel listened to and never feel like I’m asking a stupid question (even if I might be). Thanks for helping me to ‘flourish’.” – Teacher

“Pupils flourish at this inclusive and welcoming school.” - Ofsted
