Behaviour and Pastoral Manager

Salary:  £27,840 - £33,218 for hours and weeks stated

37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term Time plus 5 days)

 

We are recruiting a Behaviour and Pastoral Manager to join our new, expanding school, as we embark on our journey to Frindsbury, Strood in 2024.  

The Behaviour and Pastoral Manager will promote high expectations for all students, and lead on the provision of appropriate support and intervention strategies to ensure that students’ educational, social and emotional development needs are met.  They will coordinate the daily running of the internal exclusion room, school detentions and sanctions, ensuring the effective implementation of the Academy’s Behaviour Policy.

The successful candidate will provide a physical presence in corridors during the school day, contributing to the operational management of the Academy, ensuring it functions effectively and efficiently.   They will support in reducing levels of absence from lessons and poor behaviour amongst key groups, working identified students and their families to increase levels of engagement, ensuring that the Academy’s core values are embodied by students consistently.
