We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and organised Caretaker to join our friendly team. You will be required to work one day per week: 7.30am to 3.30pm. The day is negotiable (but not the weekend). We are also happy for the day to be split into two half-days.

The role is for 39 weeks per year (the school year) but additional hours will likely be available during the school holidays. Additional hours may also be available during school time.

Training will be provided but basic DIY knowledge, as a minimum, will be essential for this role. All relevant training will be provided. You should be hard working, helpful, and willing and able to work independently. Part of the role will be to liaise with external contractors on the phone and in-person so you must have good verbal communication skills.

You will be joining a school that has been well-maintained with staff and children that will make you feel extremely welcome.

Please see the attached Job Description for more details.

Offer of appointment is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS Disclosure. This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Information about the school

They benefit from many opportunities to take part in the excellent range of academic, physical and creative activities that we offer, both during and at the end of the school day.

We received an Ofsted inspection in March 2020 and the school was graded as outstanding in all areas.
