Wrotham Road Primary School is seeking an experienced school administrator to join our team in the role of Attendance Officer. We are part of The Golden Thread Alliance, a thriving, vibrant and inclusive Multi Academy Trust in the North Kent area.

  • 37 hours per week, term time only + 2 weeks
  • Kent Range 6 - £23,801 to 25,262 FTE Per Annum, Pro Rata to £21,184

The role includes responsibility for providing administrative and organisational services to the school associated with the recording, management and monitoring of whole school attendance, analysing data to identify key areas of concern. Building close working relationships with pupils and families to improve attendance rates and address issues with persistent absence is a key aspect of the role.

You will work as part of a small friendly office team, reporting in to the School Business Manager. Peer support is provided through other Attendance Officers across the Trust, and external networking to promote knowledge and the development of school procedures is encouraged. This is a varied and rewarding role which would suit a well organised, flexible person with an aptitude for hard work, creativity, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
