KITE College is an Independent Specialist Post-16 College in Sittingbourne, providing specialist education and training for young people with an Education Health Care Plan with ASD and SEMH.

Due to growth at KITE college, we are looking for a dynamic, inspiring individual to build and shape the strategic direction of our Personal Development agenda. This is a new and varied Senior Leadership role in which the successful candidate will implement a shared vision which expresses core values and moral purpose to support the college in attaining excellence.

We are looking for an experienced practitioner with the ability to plan, deliver and design a college strategy to broaden and expand the college Personal development offer. The successful applicant with be responsible for the Personal Development curriculum, overseeing the Pastoral team, CEIAG and work experience.

If you are passionate about ensuring learners with SEN receive the highest quality of education within a supportive and empowering learning community, we would like to hear from you.

Experience of working within a specialist SEND environment with a good understanding of SEMH, ASD and associated complex needs would be beneficial. A professionally recognised teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.
