The Pupils, Governors, Leaders and staff at The Orchard school are seeking an individual whom is;

  • An experienced qualified teacher with a proven track record of excellent pedagogy or
  • An existing middle or senior leader whom has demonstrably led on School Improvement
  • An individual whom is ready to share and broaden their experience within a dynamic SEND setting
  • Experience of or willingness to train as DSL and Designated Teacher.
  • Creative, enthusiastic and solution focused practitioner
  • Bold, optimistic and tenacious in setting and achieving high standards for children with SEND

The Orchard School is a cross-phase special school for primary and secondary-aged pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, often alongside associated learning difficulties.
