Hours: 37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year - Term Time Only.

We are seeking to appoint a friendly, efficient, school administrator/receptionist for an immediate start. To act as the first port of call for all visitors and callers, manage telephone enquiries and provide administration support to the school community, with specific responsibility for supporting the Heads of Year and Pastoral Team with the administration of student suspensions. Must have a meticulous eye for detail and be a keen team member.

Duties will include:

• Receive and prioritise incoming telephone calls and deal with them appropriately
• Welcome visitors, staff and students and direct as appropriate
• Provide administrative support to the school community via our service desk requests
• Provide comprehensive and confidential administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team on student behaviour and suspension issues
• Provide accurate data on student suspensions for reports as and when required
• Undertake general administrative services as needed: typing, filing, shredding, photocopying, archiving etc.
• To have a broad and in-depth understanding of the school’s Management Information System (Arbor) – training will be provided
• Input of student records and retrieval of information relating to pupils ensuring the utmost confidentiality
• Assist with administration of school events and activities such as open evenings, parents’ evenings, prize-giving events, school photographs
• Any further duties that the Office Manager or senior team may delegate which are commensurate with the grade of the post.
