1:1 Support  Between 27.5 - 32.5 hours a week. (Fixed Term until 31/08/2024)

Post is linked to High Needs Funding and is expected to run in the first instance to 31/08/2024. It is anticipated that the High Needs Funding will be renewed at this point.

The role: You will be facilitating 1:1 support for a child with an ongoing medical need. All training and support will be provided.

Further information about the role will be given to candidates on application/request. Candidates should make clear any additional experience of dealing pupils with medical conditions. 

Ideally you may also have experience in effectively supporting children’s reading, writing and maths knowledge and skills and a good level of awareness in Dyslexia and Autism. As well as access to online training to upskill and improve personal development, additional training will be offered to a suitable candidate in the following interventions: - Read Write Inc, Speech and Language Link, Sensory Circuits, Fizzy/Clever Hands, Boxall and Nurture.  

You may never have worked in a school before but have a background in health or care - come and talk to us - all training will be provided.

Brookland Church Of England Primary School, has stood at the heart of the village since 1873 and celebrated 150 years in July 2023, growing from a handful of children to a school of 105 pupils.
