As a result of New Line Learning Academy’s increasing popularity and excellent reputation in the local community, we are looking to appoint a supportive and inspirational full-time teacher of Physical Education who would relish the opportunity to join our PE Department on a permanent basis from September 2023. Our PE department consists of a team of skilled, encouraging and motivated practitioners, which makes the post suitable for experienced colleagues and ECT’s or professionals returning to work after a career break. We are looking to appoint a PE teacher with the ability and willingness to teach a second subject would be an advantage.

As well as our state-of-the-art facilities, we have an exciting programme of trips, visits, and extra-curricular activities.  New Line Learning Academy values positive, inclusive and professional working relationships and seeks people who will support this ethos.

We have an exciting football pathway for our pupils in the morning, and our PE teams enter all local, district and national competitions.

The successful candidate will be a creative and inspiring teacher who will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • The ability to teach PE up to KS4 including examination PE
  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner who can inspire pupils
  • Recent, relevant teaching experience
  • Commitment to drive and develop the extra-curricular programme
