We are seeking to appoint a committed, creative and effective teacher to join our team. The post will be in The Marlborough, part of Rivermead Inclusive Trust which is a specialist provision for children with complex needs on the autistic spectrum. This post will be from September 2023.

Hoo St Werburgh Primary School & The Marlborough were graded Good by Ofsted in September 2018 with the Inspectors noting:

The successful candidate will work as part of a team delivering individualised curricula which provides children with appropriate opportunities to make outstanding progress in every aspect of their learning and development.  Knowledge of working with children on the autistic spectrum and experience of working within the specialist education sector is preferable. However, we are more than happy to hear from candidates from the mainstream sector. You should be a consistently good or better classroom practitioner with strongly developed skills in assessment for learning. Alongside a resilient and positive nature, a sense of humour is essential!

We can offer you;

  • An opportunity to work within a supportive Trust with a wide range of expertise
  • Excellent professional development and support
  • A well-resourced specialist provision.
  • Care First
  • Child Care Vouchers
  • A strong sense of team and community
  • The opportunity to work with us to make a difference.

ECTs with experience in SEN would be considered.
