Leigh Academy Rainham is a new co-educational comprehensive secondary school that opened its doors for the first time to year 7 in 2021 and already highly oversubscribed, our new school is firmly set to be a beacon of excellence for secondary education in Medway. We now have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Teacher of Science, starting from January 2024, or earlier (dependent on the successful candidates availability).

We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Science who can deliver high-quality learning opportunities for our students across this key curriculum area. You will be joining a very passionate and effective team of 3 teachers who work collaboratively to implement a digital IB curriculum with carefully planned interdisciplinary links with other departments. The Science team is part of Turing College (STEM subjects) and works closely with all other departments, particularly Maths, PE and Technology to ensure they deliver a highly ambitious, global curriculum with cross-curricular links.
