The Golden Thread Alliance is seeking to appoint an experienced and professional Accounts Manager to join our central Finance team who are based at Culverstone Green Primary School, Gravesend.

The Accounts Manager role:

The successful applicant will manage the Trust Central Finance Team to deliver an excellent service to the Trust and all our Schools.

This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, with a starting salary of Kent Range 11, £43,216 - £49,323 full-time equivalent.

Although the central team hub is based at Culverstone Green Primary School, we can offer one day per week working from home once you are fully trained.

The ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience of a similar role - experience in education sector or schools is also desirable
  • Previous experience of team leadership/management
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Have the ability to work in an organised and methodical manner
  • Take personal responsibility for organising day to day workload
  • Work effectively and supportively as a member of the central team
  • Be able to use own initiative to solve problems and respond proactively to unexpected situations
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people; willing to undergo Enhanced DBS Disclosure
