The Golden Thread Alliance is seeking to appoint an experienced and professional Accounts Officer to join our central Finance team who are based at Culverstone Green Primary School, Gravesend.

The Accounts Officer role:

The Golden Thread Alliance are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and efficient Accounts Officer to join our central finance team who are based at Culverstone Green Primary School, Gravesend.

This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, with a starting salary of Kent Range 7, £25,378 - £28,466 full-time equivalent.

Although the central team hub is based at Culverstone Green Primary School, we can offer hybrid working once you are fully trained.

The ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience of a similar role - experience in education sector or schools is also desirable
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Have the ability to work in an organised and methodical manner
  • Take personal responsibility for organising day to day workload
  • Work effectively and supportively as a member of the central team
  • Be able to use own initiative to solve problems and respond proactively to unexpected situations
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people; willing to undergo Enhanced DBS Disclosure
