HEAD OF PHYSICS/TEACHER OF PHYSICS

Start Date: January 2024 

We wish to appoint an ambitious and inspirational Head of Physics who is committed to raising the achievements of our students.

This post would suit an ambitious, experienced teacher with middle management aspirations who would enjoy working in a supportive and successful school. The successful candidate will be suitably qualified, will have strong subject knowledge, a passion for the subject and will enjoy teaching their subject to a high level, including GCSE and A level. 

We are also willing to consider applications for a Teacher of Physics from experienced or early career teachers. 

Please make it clear on your application which role you are applying for and provide relevant skills and experience for that level.

Highworth Grammar School is an over-subscribed 11 – 18, selective girls’ school of 1537 students with 451 students in the Sixth Form (100 boys).  We are situated in the South East of England, with excellent transport links to both the rest of Kent and London.
