Advert

We are looking for a wonderful, inspirational and shiny teacher to join our fantastic Willesborough team of practitioners, who work together to shape our children's minds.

Do you wonder what the possibilities for you could be in an ambitious school that is committed to supporting its staff within a caring ethos? Are you inspired to deliver exciting learning opportunities for all children? Come and shine with our fantastic school team!

As the successful candidate, you will take on the role of full-time class teacher in some of our lovely Reception classes in January, at the start of term three. This is an exciting time for the children as they prepare to transition into Year One. This role will be split across two classes, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday in one class and Thursday and Friday in another class. However, this job may also suit a teacher looking for part-time hours on a three day contract. We are able to be flexible for the right candidate.

This post is on a fixed term contract for the remainder of the academic year and may suit an experienced or early careers teacher.

Please telephone the school before applying for this post. You should ask to speak to Tom, Executive Headteacher, Emily Sparrow or Shelly King who are both Assistant Headteachers.. We would love to meet you and show you around our lovely schools!

Information about the federation

Willesborough Infant and Willesborough Junior schools are large schools, who federated in January 2019, forming The Willesborough Schools Federation. The two schools have worked together for many years as link schools. We are proud of our unique identity as federated infant and junior school and the progressive curriculum and provision we have created for our pupils and community.

The federation offers excellent opportunities for staff to work across both schools and enjoy being part of a big school team. As a large organisation, the Willesborough Schools can offer training, coaching and mentoring to teachers, classroom practitioners and support staff, who are new to their profession, as well as a passion and commitment to the growth of leaders and managers at all levels.

Both schools have been inspected this year and have achieved excellent outcomes.
