School Facilities Manager (SFM), KR9 (£32,485 - £36,693)

The School Facilities Manager will be responsible for all aspects of site management, plus maintaining key relationships with outsourced contractor management companies for cleaning; H&S statutory testing and grounds maintenance. They will plan, implement and oversee a rolling programme of improvements to the school, within an agreed budget, in conjunction with the Area Business Manager. The SFM will also line manage the school site team.

This is a permanent, full time, all year round (52 weeks per year) position, expected to be 8am-4pm daily (1 day to 3:30pm) but flexibility in hours will be required on occasion to meet the demands of the post.

The SFM will be required to receive out of hour’s emergency calls.
