HR Administrator

Following internal changes, we now have a vacancy for the role of HR Administrator. This is an exciting time to join the St Michael’s Prep team to help shape the transition of systems and processes, improving the effectiveness of the function and offering the staff an improved first-class support service.

The successful applicant will work closely with the HR Manager and experience of working in a previous school setting would be advantageous but is not essential. Strong administration skills are essential as the role will cover a broad range of HR administration including many aspects of recruitment, onboarding, induction, training, absence, changes to terms and conditions, leavers, work experience and liaison with activity providers and contractors.

We are embarking on a new project to streamline our recruitment and HR systems, therefore an opportunity to become involved with this from the early stages is available. Previous experience in an HR role would be an advantage and excellent IT and communication skills are essential. This is a varied and busy role requiring the ability to work flexibly, prioritise your workload and be open to change; no two days are ever the same!

This is a busy and varied role working the hours across five days, preferably all year round however consideration would be given to working a minimum of 40 weeks per annum; holiday working patterns to be agreed with the HR Manager depending on workload.
