We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated teaching assistant to join our friendly and welcoming team at Charing CE Primary School.  

The position involves working in partnership with our class teachers and SENCO with an aim to achieve the best outcomes for a pupil in Year 1. You need to understand how to motivate and encourage pupils to make progress and have the ability to differentiate and adapt learning programmes to suit varying needs.  Experience and knowledge of strategies to support pupils and experience of teaching maths, phonics and Read Write Inc would be desirable.

The successful candidate will support our Christian values and ethos.

This is a temporary term-time only position for 17.5 hours/week (9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Monday - Friday)  linked to High Needs Funding.
