Second In Charge of English

Salary: TSAT Range £28,817 - £44,302 plus TLR £5,070

(It is our intention to apply a 6.5% pay increase to Teachers Pay Scale’s, once the 2023 pay offer is formally approved by the UK Parliament)

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Second in Charge of English to join our evolving team at The Victory Academy.  The successful candidate will support the team in implementing an effective English curriculum, ensuring high quality, engaging and fulfilling education for our students that leads to excellent outcomes.   They will share and support the Academy’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth, and will be accountable for further delegated responsibilities either within English or at a whole school level.

The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and learning, with a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills.  You will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with high expectations for achievement and behaviour, to ensure that all of our children achieve their very best.  Our curriculum can be viewed here.
