Salary: £28,817 - £44,302 per annum (It is our intention to apply a 6.5% pay increase to Teachers Pay Scales, once the 2023 pay offer is formally approved by the UK Parliament)

Goodwin Academy are seeking a Teacher of English to join their vibrant and engaging, state of the art mixed Academy based in the heart of Deal.  The successful candidate will be expected to implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support the English department as appropriate.   

You will be a qualified Teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning, has a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills.  You will be an Outstanding classroom practitioner with high expectations for achievements and behaviour, to ensure that all of our children achieve their very best.  You will be able to plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum and will contribute to the values, ethos and the development of our schools.   This post is suitable for an experienced teacher or an ECT with a passion for English.
