We have a unique opportunity for an individual that would like to undertake 5 hours per week assisting the school's Site Manager.  The post is for 38 weeks per year although this could be any 38 weeks throughout the year.

The successful candidate will be essentially responsible for the up-keep of the grounds, undertaking tasks such as cutting back bushes and hedges, keeping weeds at bay, pruning and maintaining plants, removal of litter and keeping the outside areas clean and safe.  Other duties will involve carrying out minor repairs, assisting with the removal of furniture and other items.

If you like working in a friendly environment and taking pride in making the school environment look aestheically pleasing then this is the role for you, in return we can offer you an annual salary of £2,286, contribution towards Local Government Pension, after successful probation period £100 (pro-rata) towards gym membership, eyecare voucher and £15 towards the school's Christmas party

In addition to your practical skills, we are looking for someone with a positive, “can do”, attitude, who appreciates that no one day will be quite like another, and can be flexible enough to deal with this.  Some of the work required may be mundane, while some requires a bit of problem solving and creative thinking!  A great sense of humour is a must!

Cage Green Primary School is a happy primary school in north Tonbridge with 210 pupils from Reception to Year Six, including a resourced provision for children with autistic spectrum conditions.
