We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspirational Teaching Assistant to begin working at Lenham Primary School as soon as possible. We wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant, (term time only).  You will need to have a high level of literacy and numeracy and experience of improving outcomes for pupils both academically and emotionally. We are looking for people who are determined to secure the absolute best for each pupil and will work hard to ensure every child achieves everything they are capable of.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an outstanding, creative, enthusiastic practitioner who will bring their own style and skills to support the excellent work delivered throughout the school.
  • Have the skills, experience and knowledge to work with pupils in KS1 and KS2.
  • Preferably have an NVQ CACHE Level 2 or 3 for Teaching Assistants.
  • Have a good understanding of current educational initiatives.
  • Be a caring, understanding person with a sense of humour, who loves working with children and who is committed to supporting high standards and enjoyment of learning.
  • Have a good understanding of, and a desire to, effectively support children with additional needs.
  • Have the ability to work in a close team to achieve the best for our children and school community.
  • Have a desire to be involved in all aspects of school life.
