 FTE: £25 378 + £1442 SEN (Pro rata: £17856 + £1331)

We are looking for three experienced, highly skilled practitioners to join our team of HLTAs and provide cover across the school, in both the Primary and Secondary phase.  Candidates will need to demonstrate a commitment to the school’s vision.  Candidates will need to be flexible and willing to respond to the changing needs of the school at short notice.

Knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment systems are desirable and experience of working with children or adults with challenging behaviours is essential.  Candidates will need to understand the issues faced by pupils with SEN.  Candidates will need to show initiative and the ability to plan and deliver lessons at short notice.  Candidates will need good IT skills and the ability to direct TAs within the class. Candidates will need to be emotionally resilient with a good sense of humour and physically fit to undertake this role.  Knowledge of Restorative Approaches and Team Teach is desirable, although full training will be provided. 

A willingness to work beyond the school day when required is essential.

Candidates need to possess a minimum of GCSE grade C or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).

We teach our students how to regulate using the Zones of Regulation. We use Restorative Approaches to build and maintain a sense of community and to provide our pupils with the ability and attitude to respect the viewpoints of others and, when necessary, take responsibility for resolving conflict and putting things right.
