Trainee Finance Assistant

Full time (37.5 hrs per week) £20,573 - £21,293 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen to take on the role of Trainee Finance Assistant. We are seeking a bright, enthusiastic team player with excellent communication and ICT skills. The post is varied and will include processing purchase orders and invoices, cash handling and maintaining financial records. Applicants should be flexible, organised, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative. A friendly disposition and the ability to work under pressure are also essential. Some experience of a similar role would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.  The opportunity to obtain an accounting qualification maybe available in the future.

Ashford is also home to the International Railway Station offering a 35 minute journey to London and the Eurostar. The Eurotunnel terminal is a 20 minute drive from New Romney and the nearby Port of Dover, giving easy access to Europe. The Romney Marsh is a SSSI famous for its habitats ranging from the shingle expanse of Dungeness to the surrounding farmland and the diversity of the flora, fauna and wildlife.
