We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our fabulous team at Painters Ash Primary School. This is a term time only position for 30 hours per week, 5 days a week. FTE salary £19293.00 per annum, actual salary approx £13,500.00 per annum.

Purpose of the Job:

To assist teachers in providing a learning environment that enables all children to access the curriculum and learn to the best of their ability.

To work with and support a child who has specific learning and communication needs to assist their learning, and social and personal development.

 The Ideal Candidate will:

· have high expectations for all children

· give children's social development and well-being the highest priority and recognise and value both academic and personal qualities of children

· have experience of working with children

· be pro-active and full of energy

· be a good team player with good interpersonal skills

· have good numeracy and literacy skills

· be able to work with teachers and work independently to support children

· additional learning or qualifications in Special Educational Needs are a bonus for the role.
