Turner Schools is looking to recruit an exceptional Cross Trust Leader of Geography to play a major role in leading Geography across our Secondary Schools in Folkestone and Dover. We are looking for a passionate leader who is an outstanding, highly motivated practitioner to help us ensure that our knowledge-led curriculum is effectively delivered to our ambitious, confident and successful students.

The role of the Cross Trust Vice Principal will be integral in achieving this and developing the quality of teaching and learning to improve student progress across Key stages.

  • have a proven track record of success in raising standards
  • keep up to date through researching best practice and implementing this within teaching and learning strategies
  • believe that a knowledge and research-led curriculum is the necessary catalyst, with the ability and determination to be part of the Trusts community to support ambitious, confident and successful students
  • Have the drive to make a real difference to the lives of pupils in an area of coastal disadvantage and fully embrace the diverse community

Turner Schools is a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) with eight schools in Canterbury, Dover and Folkestone:-
