Assistant Site/Maintenance Manager 

We wish to appoint a person familiar with general caretaking responsibilities, with some practical experience in maintenance, decorating and or minor building work.  The postholder will help to manage and maintain our site at Astor Secondary School and also support the work of the site managers at our other schools within the Trust.

You will need to be flexible and to take pride in keeping the school well maintained, providing a clean, tidy, safe environment for our staff, pupils and visitors.  You will need to be able to work both on your own initiative as well as under the guidance of others. 

Our site is hired out to local community groups which is a good source of income for the school.  As part of this role, you may be required, at times, to work together with our established and new customers to ensure the smooth running of our facilities. 

A full driving licence is essential. 

The current team work a shift pattern and you will rota between the early shift: 7am until 3pm and late shift: 10am until 6pm. Some flexibility will be necessary for the late shifts when the school has events on. 

Salary will be in the region of Kent Range 5 (£22,900 - £24,013 per annum for 37.5 hours per week)
