Job Title:                   Full/Part Time - French & Spanish Teacher (Materity Cover)

Wilmington Grammar School for Boys is an 11-18 year old selective Boys’ Grammar School, with a co-educational sixth form, run jointly with Wilmington Grammar School for Girls.  

We are looking to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic and effective practitioner to join our successful Modern Foreign Languages Department as soon as possible working either full or part time as a Maternity cover.

The successful candidate will:

  • Enable students to achieve the highest possible standards 
  • Inspire students at GCSE and Advanced level. The department currently teaches the AQA course at GCSE and A Level. 
  • Work motivationally within a team of staff 
  • Develop innovation in teaching and learning 
  • Have high levels of emotional literacy in and out of the classroom. 
  • Knowledge of and the ability and desire to regularly display contemporary teaching and learning pedagogies. 
  • Be a person willing to commit to the ethos and vision of the school including participating in the wider life of the school

Wilmington Grammar School for Boys (often referred to as WGSB) is an extremely considerate school with a wonderful learning environment and atmosphere.
