The Howard School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher of Music with a start date of January 2024.

This post would suit an experienced teacher or an ECT with good prospects for career development. The successful applicant would teach KS3 to KS4 with the possibility of teaching KS5 in the future. The successful candidate will be a creative and dynamic practitioner who will be able to contribute to the development of our thriving Music Department and help drive forward our agenda of continuous improvement.

The Howard School is part of The Howard Academy Trust but retains its unique and individual character.

The Howard School was established in 1975 by amalgamating Rainham Boys Secondary School and Gillingham Boys Grammar School to form a bi-lateral school. A bi-lateral school is one where admission to the grammar school section is by 11 plus selection and admission to the high school section is non-selective.
